Fall Tea  

A Fall Tea, will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 8 at the historic Enoch Wright House, located at 815 Venetia Road, in Venetia. Guests will enjoy the ambiance of a historic home in a full afternoon tea with homemade sandwiches, scones, sweets and brewed tea. Cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door.  Reservations can be made by calling 412-992-0738.  Seating is limited.  For advance payment please send a check for $25 payable to Peters Creek Historical Society BY November 6 and mail to PCHS, PO Box 208, Venetia, PA 15367. 

‘Chunky Blanket’ Class

The society is offering a "CHUNKY BLANKET" class on Saturday, November 15 from 9:00AM to 12:00 noon in the old kitchen of the Enoch Wright House, 815 Venetia Road, in Venetia.  Class size is limited to 12-14 people; all materials are provided.  Cost is $60 per person; $10 from each person attending will be donated back to the historical society thanks to Karen Quatrure, instructor.  No handwork skills are required to make the blanket and would make a warm, cozy gift for yourself or for Christmas giving.  To make a reservation for the class call Patti Korintus at 724-941-6609.

‘Soup and Stroll’ Open House

Mark your calendar for ‘Soup and Stroll’, the biggest open house event hosted by the society.  It will be held on Saturday, December 6 and the "Decor Tour" on Sunday, December 7. Details will be forthcoming in the December Messenger.

Membership Holiday Gathering

Monday, November 24 at 6:00PM will be the membership holiday covered dish gathering at Wrights United Methodist Church, in Venetia.  Members are asked to provide a covered dish or dessert to cover 6-8 people.
