The following February events were announced by the Monongahela Area Historical Society.

February Program

The Monongahela Area Historical Society will meet for its program at 7 p.m. on February 22, 2018 in the Monongahela Area Chamber Community Room (Former Finishing Touch), 211 West Main Street, Monongahela. The brief members-only business meeting at the museum (230 West Main Street, Monongahela) will precede the historical presentation, topic to be announced. For more information, see our website:  http://monongahelahistoricalsociety.com or find us on Facebook. Upcoming Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of the month from September through May.

Walking Tour

A self-guided walking tour of the Monongahela Historic District is available at your leisure. Stop by the museum and pick up a brochure from the box on the outside of the front door to get started. There are 22 historic locations to visit along the way. Brochures are available in the MAHS Museum outside doorway in the covered brochure holder and also at CJ's Furniture. Smartphone technology incorporated into the tour includes video and narration for each location. All you need is your smartphone or Internet-enabled tablet and the free QR Reader app. There is no fee for this event, though donations are gladly accepted.
