Classes are held at the Healthy Habits Training Center, a part of Greater Washington County Food Bank, 909 National Pike West, Brownsville. Below is a schedule of events.

February 10 – Kid’s craft day for the birds!  We will make homemade bird feeders, decorate the trees outside with our creations, and talk a field walk to listen for the birds. 10 a.m. – noon. $10 per child. Family discounts available. Light refreshments available.

 

February 22 – A two-hour class on making salt-rising bread. 6 p.m. $10.

March 6 – Pruning fruit trees. Hands-on workshop. Time: TBA. Free.

March 10 – Garden Seminar. Classes will include pollinator gardens, starting seeds, small space gardening, and more. 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. $10. Light refreshments available.
