New Beginnings Church Offers Lunch and the Word to City Mission Residents

Pastors David Simpkins and John Zinn of New Beginnings Church in Canonsburg, along with more than 40 people from the congregation, visited the City Mission campus in Washington, PA recently. They provided everything for a BBQ feast, including ribs, chicken, pork, greens, pasta salad, mac n cheese, cake from Bethel Bakery, drinks, napkins, plates, and silverware.
They cooked all the food on-site. They offered fellowship, connection, and prayer to our residents. And they brought a stack of Bibles to hand out to everyone. They brought so much food that everyone was welcome to have seconds and even thirds of the delicious feast. Thank you, New Beginnings Church, for your generous outpouring of love and support for those we serve.
