The Trustees of the California Area School District Foundation held their annual reorganization meeting on July 13, 2026. It was reported that $18,500 in scholarships were awarded to 25 students in the district.

Teacher grants were also awarded as part of the mission to enrich, enhance and expand educational opportunities in the district.
Officers for 2026-2027 are Lisa Buday, Chair, Kim Leasure, Vice Chair, Jenn Todd, Treasurer. Anthony Molish serves as Scholarship Chair. Brenda Workman was elected as a new Trustee at the meeting.
