With over a decade of nursing experience and a deep commitment to holistic, person-centered care, Penny brings both professional strength and personal warmth to her leadership role within the community.
Originally from Greece, Penny moved to the U.S. as a teenager and now lives in Beaver County. She is a graduate of Mars High School and earned her nursing credentials from Lawrence County Vocational School through Jameson Hospital, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Her healthcare journey began at just 18 years old, first working as a resident assistant and CNA, and eventually taking on nursing roles across home health, long-term care, hospice, and substance use treatment.
Before joining Juniper in April 2025, Penny served as Director of Nursing at Holy Family Manor. After that community closed, she was drawn to Juniper Village at South Hills by its positive culture and the vibrancy of its residents and team.
“From the moment I walked into Juniper, I was struck by how happy the residents looked and how welcoming the staff were,” said Penny. “The more I learned about Juniper’s mission and innovation in senior care, the more I knew I wanted to be part of it.”
Her passion for resident care and her desire to continually grow in her profession have made Penny a strong advocate for wellness-centered leadership. Outside of work, Penny enjoys crafting, baking, traveling, and trying new things. She lives by the motto: “Never allow fear of something new control you, because you might miss out on something great.”
