ADVENTURES WITH MUNHALL COMMUNITY BAND 2026 SPRING CONCERT - Munhall Community Band's (MCB) 2026 spring concert to be held on June 6 from 5:30PM - 7:00PM at West Mifflin Middle School, located at 81 Commonwealth Ave, West Mifflin, PA 15222. Tickets are just $10 for Adults, $8 for Seniors (aged 55+), and guests under age 18 are free. Every ticket sale supports live music and local musicians, keeping events like these possible. STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL - Mt. Vernon Church, June 6 from 3:00PM – 6:00PM. The event will feature delicious dishes made with fresh strawberries grown on Triple B Farms. Some of the menu includes pulled beef sandwiches, mac & cheese, halushki, hot dogs, pretzel salads and more. They will also have their famous strawberry dessert so you won’t want to miss that! The Deacons of the church will be having a basket raffle with baskets from local vendors. Buy some tickets and take a chance on winning some great prizes! Mt. Vernon Church is located at 2200 Greenock BuenaVista Road in Elizabeth Township.

FLEA MARKET - St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Brownsville on Saturday, June 7, from 8:00 AM -- 1:00 PM. Doors open at 7:30 AM. There will also be a catered lunch with dessert and beverage, door prizes, raffles, Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, lottery board and more. Only 64 tickets available – $20 each. 6TH ANNUAL OFFICER DALE T. PROVINS JR. MEMORIAL BLOOD DRIVE - Sunday June 7 from 10:00AM – 4:00PM at the Jefferson Hills Municipal Complex, 925 Old Clairton Rd. in Jefferson Hills. There will be food trucks at this event, including: Milk + Honey, Hibachi Lou’s, Joe & Di’s Cravings, Kickin’ Korndogs, Triple B BBQ, Funky Funnels, The Pittsburghers, and Suzy’s Simply Delicious. There will be 50/50 and a Raffle Basket Auction with proceeds donated towards a scholar in Dale’s name through Westmoreland County College. This year we will be adding more local vendors as well. 3RD ANNUAL #GARYSTRONG MEMORIAL CAR CRUISE - June 13 starting at 12:00 noon. The event is taking place at Highpoint Fitness, located at 1000 Higbee Dr., in Bethel Park. Cruise open to Classic, Exotic & Super Cars and Trucks. There is a $10 donation for participating Show vehicles. There is free admission for spectators. There will be food trucks and a DJ on site. No alcohol permitted.
Highpoint Fitness will also have an Open House with open swim in the Aquatic Center. Outdoor activities for the whole family. All proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

PUBLIC RANGE DAY - Rostraver Sportsmen Club & Conservation Association will be opening their 100 yard range to the public on Saturday, June 13, from 12:00PM to 4:00PM for a chance to enjoy an hour of range time. Donation is $5 per person (covers one hour of range use). Additional time may be purchased if lanes are available, but those waiting for their first session will receive priority. Bring Your Own Equipment. No firearms or ammunition will be provided. Safety Gear Required: All shooters and spectators must wear eye and ear protection at all times. Safety First: All Club Range Rules must be followed. All firearms must be unloaded and actions open when not on the firing line. Obey all range officer instructions. ‘COLONIAL TOYS AND GAMES’ - What could be more fun than a program on the toys and games of the past? At 7:00PM on June 24 in the Community Rooms of the Jefferson Hills Borough Building, the West Jefferson Hills Historical Society (WJHHS) is delighted to offer a free program “Colonial Toys and Games” presented by Amy Smart. Amy will use hands-on examples to demonstrate the fun and games of colonial times. While exploring various games played during the Colonial Era, her presentation will discuss games that inspired games people play today as well as some that are no longer played very much. All items include hands-on elements for those who might want to try their hand at one of the games! Those in attendance are also invited to bring antique games or toys that they have and would like to share.

DINE AND DONATE - Mon Valley Paws will hold a dine and donate event at the Steel Plate Restaurant located at 321 Schoonmaker Avenue in Monessen, Pa. from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday June 29, 2026. MVP will receive a percentage of the receipts. A basket auction will be held. MVP will be accepting monetary and pet food donations. MAGIC SHOW - The Belle Vernon Public Library will host “Professor Steve,” better known as magician Steve Haberman and his “Unearth a Story Magic Show” on Tuesday, June 30 at 11:00AM in Community Bank Park in North Belle Vernon.The program is held in the shelter at the park.
