On July 16, members of the Clairton High School Band attended Key of She Brass Workshop and performed in the concert.

Amberly Horne, Jayla Hamlin, Jaelyn Johnson and Lauren Moore represent CHS at the Key of She Brass Workshop and free concert.

The purpose of Key to She Brass is to develop the musical knowledge and abilities of young brass players, to advance gender equity in professional brass sections, to empower young women to pursue opportunities in male-dominated fields, and to connect young female brass players with peers and professional mentors. The workshop was held at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Education Center.
