Elizabeth resident Thomas McPherson continues to mourn the tragic loss of his sister, Hope Egenlauf, and her 4 children - 7-year-old Dominic Jordan, 6-year-old Autumn Jordan, 3-year-old Serenity Jakub, and 2- year-old Victoria Jordan - in a house fire in McKeesport on Saturday, October 18.

House fire - Egenlaufs
McKeesport fire claimed the lives of 7-year-old Dominic Jordan, 6-year-old Autumn Jordan, 3-year-old Serenity Jakub, and 2- year-oldVictoria Jordan.

Hope's father-in-law, Ronald Egenlauf, also perished in the fire. The sole survivor was Hope's husband, Keith Egenlauf, who suffered third-degree burns over 50% of his body. He continues to fight for his life at UPMC Mercy Hospital. He has not yet learned of the death of his wife and children, as since the night of the fire he has been in a drug-induced coma.

Local communities are rallying to help with numerous fundraisers, and there are several ways to reach out and help McPherson's family.
